Years after having my own Senior Portraits taken…twice…I can still vividly recall both experiences. After viewing the images from the first photographer, my heart sank. Yes, the images were technically flawless, but I was crestfallen. I just did not see myself in them. Much to the chagrin of my parents, I begged for a session with another photographer. Thankfully, this time I ended up with photographs much more representative of me. The second photographer had made me feel much more comfortable and as a result, I was able to bring my personality to the photos. All these years later, I am proud to say that two large Senior Portraits are permanent fixtures on the walls of my parent’s home and when I see them they still make me smile.

Keeping my personal experiences in mind, I strive to create a relaxed, “senior-centered” {not that type of senior center} environment where students are comfortable being themselves.

There is no agenda in my sessions other than to spend about an hour together, get to know each other and take some great photographs that capture who you are at this point in your lives. Natural portraits you will be proud to hang on your walls for years to come.

I want so badly to feel all the joy around me
